INCANTO DI LUCI IN ROME

ENCHANTMENT OF LIGHTS - THE MAGICAL LUMINOUS WALK IN THE BOTANICAL GARDEN

From 19 November to 8 January 2023, simultaneously with 18 other European capitals, the Botanical Garden of Rome will host Enchantment of Lights, the sensory exhibition of Light Art.

If you want to enter a real enchanted world, you have to reach the Botanical Garden of Rome that will host many amazing light installations on the occasion of Enchantment of Lights, the sensory art exhibition. A unique event in conjunction with other European capitals such as Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dresden and Windsor.
For almost two months the Botanical Garden will be illuminated by the works of light designer Andreas Boehlke, made evocative by the melodies of composer and sound designer Burkhard Fincke: The result is a magical path surrounded by nature that stretches for a mile. The installations have been designed to have a limited environmental impact, thanks to the use of LED bulbs and extreme attention to the protection of greenery and wildlife.
Crossing the threshold of a Gate of Wonders you can enter a fantastic world and walk among the shining palm trees of Viale dei Rami Scintillanti, through the Cathedral of Light, to meet the Fairies of the Trees and then climb with your eyes on the Staircase to the Moon. To conclude, a large sleigh with Santa Claus and large illuminated packages will surprise visitors with the joy of the true Christmas spirit.
